Common Questions
Find answers to common questions about our local digitizing work. We provide hands-on service in Coldwater, using veteran-owned standards to ensure your family history is preserved with care.
What kinds of media can you convert?
We focus on preserving home memories. Right now we convert most VHS tapes, some vintage camcorder formats, and printed photos. If you’re not sure what you have, send us a quick photo of the tape or box label and we’ll confirm before you bring anything in.
How do drop-offs at your studio work?
Drop-offs are by appointment at our Coldwater studio. You bring your tapes and photos in person, we review what you have together, and we tag everything with your name so nothing gets mixed up. Your originals stay with us on-site—nothing is mailed out.
How long will you have my tapes and photos?
Most projects are finished in about 2–3 weeks, depending on how many items you bring. We’ll give you a time estimate when you drop off, and we’ll let you know as soon as your originals and digital files are ready for pickup. Your media stays with us in Coldwater the entire time—never mailed to a third party.
